R454B is an HFO/HFC refrigerant blend made for new air conditioning, heat pump and chiller equipment. It is the lower-GWP replacement for R410A in the latest generation of residential and light commercial systems.

Important use and safety information
- Use only in equipment designed and labeled for R454B. Do not charge into R410A systems unless the equipment manufacturer approves it.
- Charge as a liquid and do not mix with other refrigerants.
- A2L refrigerant: handle with A2L-rated tools, good ventilation and leak checks, and follow the manufacturer charge limits.
- Sale and use are subject to U.S. EPA Section 608 requirements. Refrigerant should be installed by a certified technician.
